Environmental Effects Monitoring Studies
Project lead for a large Marine Ecological Survey of the Idd El Shargi North Dome (ISND) and Idd El Shargi South Dome (ISSD) production fields, Persian Gulf offshore Qatar. Conducted the comprehensive environmental survey in the Persian Gulf conducting ocean sediment sampling for benthic and physicochemical analysis, water quality hydrographic profiling, and assessment of underwater benthic habitats from video and drop camera footage. Project manager and lead author of the resulting Environmental Survey Report.
Project manager for the Environmental Effects Monitoring (EEM) Program for Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM) within Halifax Harbour. Conducted the water quality sampling and hydrographic profiling at 30+ multi-depth stations covering the entire expanse of Halifax Harbour. Responsible for oceanographic equipment maintenance and calibration, field team scheduling and coordination, sample submission and coordination of multiple analytical laboratories, report data collection/collation, and Project meetings with the lead scientists and client.

Microbiological Contamination (MBC) in Distillate Fuels
Principal biologist and project manager for the comprehensive monitoring program for microbiological contamination in marine distillate fuels (MBC) of the Canadian Coast Guard's Eastern Fleet, Marine Atlantic's Eastern Fleet, and the Sable Offshore Energy Project.
Training and Development
Development of a comprehensive training and certification program for offshore operators, deck crew, and crane operators to identify and understand the processes involved, associated problems, and mitigating control procedures for the uncontrolled growth of common fuel microbes in distillate fuels.
